How my girls sleep

I woke up the girls this morning and this is what I found!! What cuties.

My risk-taker riding her bike

Went for a walk with Alex and Emma. We got around the block and on
the last stretch Emma started by standing ip on her peddles. Then she
got more courageous and stood on her seat. I got a photo of that. She
started doing it one handed. Unfortunately I missed that photo op.

Emma Being a Stunt Double

A reminder for me

Philippians 4:4-7 (New International Version)

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Some Great Things About Being 30-something (part I)

1. Old enough to know better but still young enough to not have a clue.
2. Only about a third of a century.
3. Still look young and feel young (for the most part)
4. Can run and chase the kids.
5. Speaking of...two healthy kids.
6. A marriage worth fighting for.
7. A green thumb like both my grandmas!
8. Unconditional love for the rest of my life.
9. FIVE amazing sister-in-laws that teach me so much about what a
sisters is!
10. A healthy family and a big one!!
11. The words that my two year old can say...even the ones that I
don't want to hear.

Emma the tree hugger like her dad!! On Sunday, Emma and I went for a walk. I needed a break from studying and asked her if she wanted to go with me. She said walk about ten times after I asked her. It was windy and cold, but we both loved it and had fun. I will be taking more breaks like this throughout the rest of the semester! She walked up to this tree and said tree, hugged it, and kissed it!
